Fateless Video Recap: GODFORGE STARTER HEROES REVEALED!
In our latest YouTube video, we took a deep dive into the three starter heroes available when you begin your journey in the Godforge Alpha — which, if all goes to plan, is launching this July.
We kicked things off with our cinematic intro (which is fully skippable), where Brynhild squared off against Ra. Then, three powerful heroes stepped in: Guan Yu, Lady Xoc, and Ramses. You’ll get to choose one of these to start your journey. Each brings a unique playstyle and set of mechanics to showcase the game’s core systems:
- Guan Yu (Order, Slayer): A high-damage hero who excels with Drain debuffs. His ultimate, Blade Dance, hits multiple enemies and spread Drain, which empowers his basic attack. His passive increased damage dealt to drained enemies.
- Lady Xoc (Order, Slayer): She leans into Bleed effects. Her ultimate strikes all enemies twice, with each hit carrying a chance to apply Bleed. Her passive boosts her damage output against bleeding targets.
- Ramses (Order, Slayer): Focuses on Acid debuffs, Ramses hits hard with his flail attacks. His ultimate applies Acid to all enemies, and his passive increases his damage against those affected.
We also showcased the new hero selection screen and shared how we’ve been evolving our UI and artwork, moving from mockups to final designs. Every screen is being refined to ensure a clean and polished experience for Alpha.
